Texas Medicare Counseling (SHIP / HICAP)

Texas provides free, unbiased Medicare benefits counseling through local Area Agencies on Aging as part of the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), called HICAP in Texas.

SHIP/HICAP counselors can explain Medicare choices, enrollment, prescription drug coverage, Medicare Savings Programs and other benefits. Their counseling is provided without selling insurance.
