Why review coverage if you're happy?
Because both your life and your plan can change. A plan that worked well last year may still be excellent — or a change in prescriptions, doctors, network or plan benefits may make another option worth considering.
Good reasons to review
A prescription was added or changed
A doctor or hospital changed
Your premium or copays increased
You received an Annual Notice of Change
You moved or travel more often
Your health-care use changed
A pharmacy became less convenient
You want to understand new benefits/rules
What we look at
| Area | Questions |
|---|---|
| Doctors | Can you continue seeing the providers and health systems that matter to you? |
| Prescriptions | Are the drugs covered, on what tiers, and at which pharmacies? |
| Costs | What are the premium, deductible, copays and realistic annual exposure? |
| Convenience | Do network, referral, pharmacy and travel rules fit how you live? |
Sometimes the right answer is: keep what you have.A useful review is not successful only when someone changes plans. If your current coverage still fits well, understanding why can be just as valuable.
