Whether we meet you online, on the phone or face to face, we want you to be comfortable with us. We'll introduces ourselves and ask you what questions you may already have. We'll answer those questions and perhaps ask you some of our own to make sure we understand your goals. Normally, no one signs up for anything at this first meeting. We want you to get answers. Shoot, we'll even buy you a cup of coffee if you want to meet in person. There is a Scope of Appointment (SOA) that we'll need to send you ahead of time defining what we'll talk about and give you time to reconsider.
A lot of times, people just want to know where to start. We'll point you to ssa.gov and answer any questions you may have about that process. If you're working past 65, we'll guide you to ensure that you are covered, even though we probably won't be seeing you again for a while. We truly do want to help.
If the first meeting goes well and you feel comfortable with us, we may ask a few questions of our own. Several of these can be found in the Questions for the Mirror page. At this point we'll probably ask you for a list of prescriptions, what pharmacies you got to, what doctors you see, what hospitals you go to and such. The purpose of these questions is to find you the best plans, or if you are already on Medicare, find you the best places to go to save you money. We are licensed and therefore under HIIPA rules, so any information is confidential. Our More Info page has numbers to call if you think we have done anything wrong.
Provided you like everything you've seen before, we'll probably sent you some quotes to compare. No purchase is ever required and we'll never bill you. These will be for you to see the plan details and prices. We can answer any questions you may have and requote as necessary. Some times people change their minds from what they originally thought they wanted after they get more details. That's normal and perfectly understandable.
If you see the plan best suited for you, then we'll help you step by step to enroll in the plan. The process is straightforward and we'll be there to assist if needed. Again, you do not pay us anything. When you are enrolled in the best plan for you, the carriers will pay us.
We are with you in this for the long haul. Every year you will receive an Annual Notice of Change, usually in September. From Oct 15 until Dec 7 each year, we can review your medications and providers to make sure you are still getting the best for your Medicare coverage. Again, this is an added value service we are happy to provide.
If you like what you've seen, please contact us. The absolute best time to start is during the 3 months prior to the month you'll turn 65. But if that doesn't work out, we'd love to help you any time.
