Often we sit down with people and, while they know they need some kind of coverage, they haven't really examined their own comfort levels.  If you sign up for a plan that is contrary to how you live your everyday life, you may not end up liking that plan.  Even though someone else might love it!  A little self-reflection might go a long ways.

How do you buy things now?  Do you buy things with the expectation of replacing it or with an expectation it should last a long time?

What kind of insurance have you always opted for?  Do you like lower premiums with higher deductibles and copays or have you always paid a little more to avoid surprises?

Would you rather have your doctor have the final say over your medical care or would you rather have a second set of eyes, whether it's a referral or an insurance company, watching out for you?

Would you like to have all hospital and doctor payments made, but you have to buy your own vision/dental services or insurance?  Or would you rather make copays on the doctors and hospitals, but have some assistance with dental/vision and maybe a gym membership thrown in?
